This music video was made completely in camera with custom made praxinoscopes (which are a film strip design based on the original zoetropes). These machines used the persistance of vision to create little looping animations as they spun around. This video is hypnotic, I couldn’t look away, plus the music is pretty. I love vintage technology! I just bought a polaroid camera actually, you can see some of my photos here: http://www.annachristine.com/graphic/polaroid.php
Accompanying this video is a pretty cool making of video, you can see it after the jump!

It’s about time I got back into the swing of things here now that my site is nearing completion. What better way than to show yous guys some rad stop motion done in ode to office life. haha I love the shredder and the style that they created with it. Here is the vimeo description.
Video made by Katarzyna Kijek & Przemysław Adamski
Video made with shredding machine. Every third frame of the footage was printed, shredded and shot three times blended with adjacent frames by different stripes configuration.

In the spirit of Zombie Jesus day! (I know it was a couple days ago, but I finally have something relevant!) These are some egg shells that some guy with a large amount of free time rocked out.
“Egg Art Master Franc Grom sells egg artwork by creating approximately 2,500 to 3,500 holes in each egg shell.
His intricate art is inspired by traditional Slovenian designs. Drilling holes in egg shells would require an incredible amount of steady hand and patience and the effort has definite paid off with these beautiful creations.”
More after the jump!

This vid is super cheesy and pretty old, but I dig it. It’s also a little long, but again… worth it! Created by MK12 “Man of Action”

This is the kind of glitch technique I can get into, none of that artifacting shit, just good old fashioned tv lines and grain mixed with some trippy echo effects. Check it out if you dare!
