Once again, it’s new music video time! This is a pretty interesting little story about mutated ciggarette cartons breaking into a little bar and destroying the place with their unadulerated insanity and looks like probably a drug habit too, if I was made of flammable materials and I saw fire, I’d fuckin jet, not dance in it, maybe they weren’t holding cigs in there, hah.
Nonetheless, it’s well done and pretty damn fun, so enjoy and hope that these little guys never find your house, they’ll burn that shit down!

Hey guys! I apologize for my lack of posts this week, been pretty busy and extremely tired all week, which one of you cursed me!? Come forth! Please?
Anyway, here is my update of sorts. I have been scrambling to create this short documentary on the topic of sustainability. Both for portfolio work as well as something to submit into this mentor program I’m in. Lucky for me, my friend Leilani directed my attention to a local tea cafe who strive to be very sustainable, host a variety of events and specials, and promote immense amounts of creativity not only in their business practices, but in their acceptance and promotion of local artists and musicians and their storefront/venue is pretty creative too. They were the perfect place to show practicing sustainable business tactics.
Last night I shot an interview with the two co-owners, Julie and Chris. They are two super cool people who are really passionate about what they do there as well as other programs and events that they participate in outside of dandelion too. Julie also does front porch radio on rollins college station, and is the co-founder of PLACE and Chris doubles as both co-owner of dandelion and GM at our local indie theatre the Enzian. It’s been really cool meeting and speaking with them both. So far they’ve been welcoming and supportive of my project and very accomodating.
Even though I have the interview part done, I still have a lot of work to do to get b-roll and customer reactions as well. Plus I plan to make a 15-30 second intro to the video which I plan to put a little bit more graphical stuff into.
So wish me luck guys! and if any of you want to help out in anyway, give me a ring, or comment or something.

I dedicate this post to my friend Jed who is gettin hitched to a lovely girl named Evelyn this weekend, so before you guys start break dancing down that aisle, take a gander at this video. This music video for the song “Embers” is well done *golf clap*. One continuous shot of a timeline made up of action figures and miniatures combined with some figures and labels and of course the musician Just Jack peeking into each part of history. The video was created by JJ Stereo and directed by Chris Boyle.

This video is what most people tend to miss. These talking objects are real!!!! hehe. Nonetheless, it was a pretty cool idea to give these interviewees a new face. Enjoy the Lost Tribes of NYC.
