#1. I freakin love this animation style. Something I hope to try out in the near future.
#2. The music mixing and mashups in this video are a lot of fun. It truly is an art to bring two completely different pieces of music together to make something completely new.
#3. I wanna go! I’ve never been to Chicago… and there are a lot of really fun musicians playing this year. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to enjoy their promotional video…

It’s about time I got back into the swing of things here now that my site is nearing completion. What better way than to show yous guys some rad stop motion done in ode to office life. haha I love the shredder and the style that they created with it. Here is the vimeo description.
Video made by Katarzyna Kijek & Przemysław Adamski
Video made with shredding machine. Every third frame of the footage was printed, shredded and shot three times blended with adjacent frames by different stripes configuration.

This vid is super cheesy and pretty old, but I dig it. It’s also a little long, but again… worth it! Created by MK12 “Man of Action”

This is the kind of glitch technique I can get into, none of that artifacting shit, just good old fashioned tv lines and grain mixed with some trippy echo effects. Check it out if you dare!

Hey guys! I apologize for my lack of posts this week, been pretty busy and extremely tired all week, which one of you cursed me!? Come forth! Please?
Anyway, here is my update of sorts. I have been scrambling to create this short documentary on the topic of sustainability. Both for portfolio work as well as something to submit into this mentor program I’m in. Lucky for me, my friend Leilani directed my attention to a local tea cafe who strive to be very sustainable, host a variety of events and specials, and promote immense amounts of creativity not only in their business practices, but in their acceptance and promotion of local artists and musicians and their storefront/venue is pretty creative too. They were the perfect place to show practicing sustainable business tactics.
Last night I shot an interview with the two co-owners, Julie and Chris. They are two super cool people who are really passionate about what they do there as well as other programs and events that they participate in outside of dandelion too. Julie also does front porch radio on rollins college station, and is the co-founder of PLACE and Chris doubles as both co-owner of dandelion and GM at our local indie theatre the Enzian. It’s been really cool meeting and speaking with them both. So far they’ve been welcoming and supportive of my project and very accomodating.
Even though I have the interview part done, I still have a lot of work to do to get b-roll and customer reactions as well. Plus I plan to make a 15-30 second intro to the video which I plan to put a little bit more graphical stuff into.
So wish me luck guys! and if any of you want to help out in anyway, give me a ring, or comment or something.
