So it seems that Obama (a president who is known to smoke — but has yet to be photographed doing so) has signed a smoking prevention and tobacco control bill that allows the FDA to control packaging, ingredients and advertising of tobacco and cigarettes.

So Beck’s music is the kind that I don’t hear very often, but everytime I do, I get really into the music. He also ends up with a crap load of awesome vids. Now I need to go buy some Beck…… I think I’m going to throw the Shins in there too, kind of in a duo mood for both of them…. at the SAME TIME! Do I feel a mashup coming on????? So I just read an article here talking about Obama’s modern method for announcing his choice for vp. Rather than spending this post discussing the mechanics of Obama’s tactic, I want to talk about what I think it means.
